Fence Types / King Plus Fence (King+)

Wood Privacy Fence
The King Plus is the strongest fence we offer. We begin by setting a 2.5-inch steel post 4 feet into the ground, then build your fence framework around that much stronger foundation.
These steel posts will not rot, and they will not warp or bend from sun exposure. The fence is rated to withstand winds up to 100 mph, giving added peace of mind during severe windstorms and tornadoes.
The King Plus framework costs more than a traditional wood-post fence, but the added strength and durability make it well worth the investment — like an insurance policy for your fence, paid once upfront with no monthly premiums.
King Plus gives you the natural beauty of a wood fence without the biggest weakness of traditional wood fences: rotting posts. Instead of 4×4 wood posts set in concrete — which often start rotting at ground level within 10–20 years — we drive galvanized steel posts four feet into the ground, compacting the soil for a hold several times stronger than concrete, and treat them to resist rust and corrosion. Each steel post is then wrapped in wood pickets to form a box that looks just like a classic 4×4 wood post, so unless you look closely, your fence keeps all the traditional charm — and it can be stained or painted to match the rest of the fence.
We also add an extra rail married to the top of the framework, which keeps the pickets from bending, warping, or shifting and gives the fence a straighter, cleaner top edge. The payoff is a longer-lasting fence with far easier upkeep: because the posts are steel rather than concrete-set wood, there's nothing to rot underground — and if the wood ever weathers, you can simply strip it off and build a fresh fence on the same posts, with no digging out old posts and concrete.
